A moment of weakness a lifetime of regret

Regret____by_Mikeinel

We all have decisions to make in our everyday lives. There is no big or small decision. That decision in which we chose will effect us either in a positive way or a negative way.

You can’t control the weather, you can’t control the current events but you CAN control how much you train, what you put in your mouth, where you go, and do what you want to do.

How often have you had a goal and had the enemy of temptation come knocking to wrap a blanket over you, telling you that it’s okay to take it easy and just quit?

How often have you made a commitment to someone or something and instead of knowing what to do, you chose to go on  and do what you know you shouldn’t?

How often have you decided to delay something today, and never do it tomorrow?

That moment, when you stand face to face with the decision, will you succumb to your weakness or will you be strong and tread through never looking back?

When you are trying to lose fat and you find yourself faced with foods that got you were you didn’t want to be in the first place…Will you be in control? Or will that food defeat you and make you work that much harder later? Are you willing to risk your health, and waste your time just trying to burn that off? If not food, how about drugs? That can be a health consequence you can live with for the rest of your life if you don’t do something now.

When you have the commitment of friendship to someone or you call someone your own brother/sister and you are at a crossroads in which you either betray them to get ahead or stay loyal to them, that is a consequence you will have to live with your whole life with or without them.

When you have business to take care of, or have urgent and important obstacles you must climb or hammer through, would you do whatever you can, one step at a time every single day until you accomplish it? Or would you just “leave it for tomorrow”, and tomorrow never comes? One day you’ll wake up and know that is time you’ll never get back, an opportunity you missed, success you never tasted because you decided it was more important to do something else that’s relaxing.

lunamenseEvery day we are tested and we don’t even know it. We all are, ultimately, the weaver of our own fate, the boss, the decision maker, the one who determines where we want to go and where we want to be. When those questions are asked right before us internally, just remember, it is you, and you alone, who will make a decision that will last a lifetime and after that decision has been made that is a decision that has passed.

The next time you are confronted by this, take your time, pause, and think wisely to make the decision you are going to make. Strong-willed or weak-minded? Which are you? Only in those moments will you find out how strong of character you are. Remember, a moment of weakness a lifetime of regret. Pain doesnt hurt.

A motivating discussion is worth comment. I believe that you should publish more about this subject matter, it may not be a taboo subject but typically people do not talk about these issues. To the next! Kind regards!!

Thanks for that, I would put a donate button but, I couldn’t do that to my viewers to donate me something and get free money that way. This is what I love to do, and I’m happy people are reading my blog and I’ll be happy to offer free content! I will eventually write ebooks and put my services online but, I plan on making it cheap anyway because at the end of the day this is what I love to do.

Woah! I’m realkly enjoying the template/theme of this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance.
I must say tthat you’ve done a awesome job with this.
Additionally, thhe blog loads super fast for me on Safari.
    Outstanding Blog!
