Paleo slow cooker recipe: Banana coconut bread


This stuff is the balls. If you want to bulk up or even lose weight and want something sweet to bring to work or have for breakfast this would be it! Heck, if you’re even having problems with sleep, the walnuts which are rich in tryptophan, along with the carbohydrates will help you sleep! Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 8 hours

Servings: 10


1 1/2 cup of sorghum flour

1 cup coconut flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1 pinch of salt

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1/4 cup coconut oil

5 eggs

1/4 cup raw honey

2 ripe bananas mashed

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup chopped walnuts


1: In a bowl, mix the almond flour with the coconut flour, salt and baking soda

2: In a different bowl, combine the coconut oil with eggs, raw honey, bananas, coconut oil, vanilla.

3: Mix the dry ingredients with the liquid ones and give it a good mix

4: Fold in the chopped walnuts

5: Slightly grease your crock pot with coconut oil then pour the batter into a pot and cook on low settings for 8 hours

6: When done, remove the bread from the crockpot, slice and serve
